Why are trips offered for groups of 20 people or more?
The minimum number of participants is essential to ensure optimized pricing and an organization adapted to group travel in mountain destinations.
Trips organized by Passe Montagne are offered for groups of 20 people or more, as this threshold corresponds to the conditions required by most of our partners to apply preferential group rates.
In some cases, this minimum may be increased to 40 people, depending on the resort or the type of trip.
This is because ski resorts and local service providers define the minimum number of participants required to offer competitive pricing, particularly based on:
- bus capacity requirements
- accommodation conditions
- or special group ski pass rates
These thresholds allow resorts to offer truly competitive prices that cannot be achieved with smaller groups.
This approach enables us to guarantee a consistent, cost-effective, and high-quality offer, while ensuring smooth logistics and efficient organization for your mountain trip or stay.
